China Airlines has inaugurated a daily flight route linking Taichung to Okinawa, enhancing its reach within Japan. This new service is part of the airline’s broader strategy to increase its total weekly round-trip flights between Taiwan and Japan to over 170. Utilizing an Airbus A321neo, Flight CI310 takes off from Taichung at 10:00 a.m. and lands in Okinawa at 12:40 p.m. The return journey, Flight CI311, departs Okinawa at 1:40 p.m. and arrives back in Taichung by 2:10 p.m.
Looking to further expand its services, China Airlines has announced a second daily flight scheduled to begin on August 13. This additional service, Flight CI312, will leave Taichung at 3:20 p.m., reaching Okinawa at 6:00 p.m. The corresponding return flight, CI313, is planned to depart Okinawa at 7:00 p.m., arriving in Taichung at 7:30 p.m.
With these new flights, China Airlines will now operate approximately 30 round-trip services to Okinawa every week. This expansion is bolstered by existing routes originating from Taipei and Kaohsiung, which collectively aim to provide more convenient travel options between Taiwan and Japan.
The increased connectivity is expected to benefit both business and leisure travelers, offering more flexibility and choice for those commuting between the two regions. By strengthening its network, China Airlines is positioning itself to meet growing demand for air travel between Taiwan and Japan.
