The talks highlighted plans to expedite significant connectivity projects, such as the China-Thailand railway, and rail connections linking China, Laos, and Thailand. This infrastructure development is seen as a vital step in strengthening ties and facilitating smoother regional transport and trade.
Both leaders also agreed to increase their efforts to address cross-border crimes, focusing specifically on challenges like online gambling and telecommunications fraud. They discussed enhancing collaborations in tourism, education, and media to further solidify the bond between the two countries.
Thailand reiterated its support for the one-China policy, a crucial aspect of the diplomatic relationship between the two nations.
