In response to recent remarks made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who suggested that China had been assisting Iran with missile manufacturing components, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun addressed the claims on Tuesday. Netanyahu had expressed displeasure with the alleged support during an interview, which prompted a firm reply from China.

Guo Jiakun stated that China has consistently made its stance clear regarding such international matters. He emphasized that as a major global player, China is committed to upholding its international responsibilities. This includes efforts to resolve conflicts, promote peace, and work towards de-escalating tensions worldwide.

Guo firmly rejected the accusations from Netanyahu, labeling them as baseless and lacking evidence. According to him, China has always adhered to its commitments on the global stage, ensuring that it fulfills its international obligations responsibly.

The exchange highlights ongoing geopolitical tensions, with Israel voicing concerns over Iran’s missile capabilities and China’s alleged involvement. These dynamics continue to play a significant role in the broader international discourse surrounding security and diplomatic relations.
